Total Waste Control Ltd recognises and accepts concern for the environment is an integral and fundamental part of the company’s business strategy and is committed to providing the highest levels of service to all our customers in a manner that is beneficial to the environment and essential in terms of ensuring both the continuity of our business and duty towards society and future generations.
We will seek to reduce our impact on the environment, to the lowest practicable minimum, by actively encouraging the diversion of waste from landfill by advising and educating customers and ensuring all third parties are similarly maintaining sound environmental practices.
As part of this commitment, we aim to:
- Promote re-use and recycling and endeavour to increase our recycling rates by looking for new outlets for recyclable materials.
- Offer advice to customers on the handling and disposal of hazardous wastes, industrial cleaning and environmental services.
- Continually improve our environmental performance and prevent pollution.
- Provide information to our customers to help them increase their recycling rates.
- Comply with all environmental legislation relating to our business and where appropriate exceed these requirements.
- Communicate our policy to our employees, contractors and interested parties.
- Make our environmental policy available to the public.
Total Waste Control Ltd’s environmental policy is supported by the Managing Director and is reviewed annually.
